98 kms from Port Blair Baratang Island located in Middle Andaman is the next emerging tourist destination for visitors visiting Andaman. Baratang has been termed as "The Land of Natural Wonders". Baratang is connected by road from Port Blair traveling between thick tropical rain forest. Mainly famous for its backwater, mangroove forest, lime stone cave and mud volcano.

Lime Stone caves are nearer to Baratang Jetty . The sea journey starts from the Nilambur Jetty/Baratang Jetty. Lime stone cave is 20 minutes by boat from Jetty. Its closed on Monday. It is connected by road from hotel and reach to Baratang Jetty and from jetty you have to take Fiber boat which takes 20 minutes to reach there.

This mud volcano is one more main attraction for visitors travelling in Andaman islands. It is an active mud volcano which ejects mud rather than the burning lava. This Volcano is nearer to Baratang Jetty of Andaman islands (middle Andaman). It takes atleast a day to visit this place and return to Port Blair.
